Qualifications

• JD or LL.B. from a recognized institution.
• Admission to the Philippine Bar.
• Labor-law specialization or master's degree is advantageous but not required.
• At least 6 years' labor and employment law experience, in-house or with a law firm.
• Experience advising multinational or large organizations.
• Strong negotiation, communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational employment-law advice to senior management.
• Oversee employment litigation and pre-litigation matters with HR, business units and external counsel.
• Develop and refine internal employment-law guidelines and resources.
• Advise on outsourcing, restructuring and M&A from an employment-law perspective.
• Manage relationships with Philippine external law firms and budget.
• Educate executives and HR on employment-law risk and compliance.
• Monitor Philippine labor law developments and incorporate changes into policies.
