Job summary

Aon plc in the Philippines seeks a Senior Specialist, Data and AI Governance to maximize the value of data and AI assets across Asia Pacific. You will partner with business, analytics, and technology teams to align governance with business goals and enable trusted decision-making.

This role focuses on data quality, metadata, data catalog, AI governance, and responsible AI, driving adoption of governance frameworks and shaping how data and AI deliver strategic business impact across APAC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, Analytics, AI Governance, or related disciplines.
• Experience working with business and technology stakeholders in complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of how data, analytics, and AI can create business value.
• Familiarity with governance and analytics tools such as Alation, Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Power BI, Databricks, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Curious, collaborative, and outcome-focused, with a passion for data, AI, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Drive Data & AI Strategy Alignment with business goals and growth opportunities across APAC.
• Enable Strategic Data Asset (SDA) lifecycle management and improve data asset adoption.
• Support implementation of Data & AI Governance frameworks across APAC.
• Improve Data Quality and Stewardship through collaboration with Data Owners and Stewards.
• Maintain metadata, data catalogs, glossaries, and lineage documentation for self-service analytics.
• Govern Generative AI, AI agents, ML models, and AI-enabled products with Responsible AI principles.
• Engage stakeholders through governance forums and training to improve adoption.
