Job summary

Aon is seeking a Senior Specialist, Data & AI Governance to maximize the value of data and AI assets across Asia Pacific. You will work with business, analytics, and technology teams to implement governance that enables trusted decision-making and AI innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, Analytics, AI Governance, or related disciplines.
• Experience collaborating with business and technology stakeholders in complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of how data, analytics, and AI create business value.
• Familiarity with governance and analytics tools such as Alation, Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Power BI, Databricks, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Curious, collaborative, and outcome-focused, with a passion for data, AI, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business, analytics, and technology teams to align Data & AI Governance priorities with business goals and growth opportunities.
• Identify opportunities where better governance can improve decision-making, enable AI adoption, increase data reuse, and create business value.
• Support strategic initiatives involving analytics, AI, data modernization, and digital transformation.
• Promote governance as an enabler of innovation rather than a compliance activity.
• Support the governance and lifecycle management of Strategic Data Assets across APAC.
• Track governance maturity and business value delivered through strategic data assets.
• Embed governance practices into analytics solutions, data products, AI initiatives, and digital capabilities.
• Support governance forums, issue management, and continuous improvement activities.
