Job summary

SC Johnson Philippines ROHQ is seeking an Inventory and Supply Planner responsible for optimizing the balance of inventory across the supply chain network in line with target customer service levels, forecast accuracy, and safety stock levels. You will manage policy settings (EOQ, reorder points) and maintain data accuracy in materials master data.

The role requires 4–5 years in supply or demand planning and strong knowledge of end-to-end planning processes, SAP ECC/APO, and advanced Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any business-related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in Supply or Demand planning.
• Good understanding of end-to-end planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Determines policies and reviews safety stock and inventory levels.
• Regularly reviews and optimizes inventory parameters and levels (e.g. reorder pt, safety stock, ABC categorization).
• Places orders based upon agreed lead time and volume parameters.
• Accountable for quality and updates to Material Master Data.
• Accountable for supply policies (EOQ, scheduling).
• Works closely with Logistics Service Provider coordinators.
• Prepares & assists in gap resolution as pre-work to the S&OP meeting.
• Determines & reviews safety stock and inventory settings quarterly.
• Defines ABC categorization to define safety stock settings.
• Reviews out of stock situations and defines actions to avoid this in the future.

Job description

The position is responsible for optimizing the balance of inventory across the supply chain network in line with target customer service levels, levels of forecast accuracy, and safety stock levels for the portfolio of SKU for which they are accountable for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determines policies and reviews safety stock and inventory levels.

• Regularly reviews and optimizes inventory parameters and levels (e.g. reorder pt, safety stock, ABC categorization)

• Places orders based upon agreed lead time and volume parameters

• Accountable for quality and updates to Material Master Data

• Accountable for supply policies (Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), scheduling, etc)

• Works closely with Logistics Service Provider coordinators

• Prepares & assists in gap resolution as pre-work to the Sales and Operations Planning meeting

• Determines & reviews safety stock and inventory settings quarterly

• Defines ABC categorization to define safety stock settings

• Reviews out of stock situations and defines actions to avoid this in the future (respecting the defined service levels per category

Required Experience You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any business-related course

• At least 4-5 years of experience working in Supply or Demand planning is required

• Good understanding of end-to-end planning processes

Preferred Skills/Experience/Competencies:

• System Knowledge [SAP – ECC/APO]

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• With process-improvement mindset

• Good knowledge of inventory policies and methodologies

• System Knowledge [Microsoft Office esp. Excel – Pivot, VLOOKUP, etc]

Job Requirements:

• Full-time employment

• Onsite setup; 1 day remote per week is available after 3 months

• Work Hours: 8:00AM or 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 6:00PM (Mondays to Fridays)

• Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables
