Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an Inventory Planner to optimize the balance of inventory across the supply chain, ensuring target service levels and forecast accuracy for assigned SKUs. The role oversees safety stock settings, reorder points, and ABC analysis, and collaborates with logistics partners to maintain supply readiness.

Candidates should have 4–5 years in supply or demand planning and a solid grasp of end-to-end planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a business-related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in Supply or Demand planning.
• Good understanding of end-to-end planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Determines policies and reviews safety stock and inventory levels.
• Regularly reviews and optimizes inventory parameters and levels (e.g. reorder point, safety stock, ABC categorization).
• Places orders based upon agreed lead time and volume parameters.
• Accountable for quality and updates to Material Master Data.
• Accountable for supply policies (EOQ, scheduling).
• Works closely with Logistics Service Provider coordinators.
• Prepares & assists in gap resolution for Sales and Operations Planning.
• Defines ABC categorization to define safety stock settings.
