  • Review balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules to identify unusual or outstanding items.
  • Prepare and post daily accounting entries with appropriate documentation and approvals.
  • Record accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions accurately and on time.
  • Process invoices, verify supporting documentation, apply appropriate coding, and route items for approval.
  • Balance and verify internal and intercompany accounts, resolving differences in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Prepare and respond to audit confirmation requests and provide supporting records for internal and external audits.
  • Prepare variance analysis reports, explain significant movements, and elevate unresolved issues.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and comply with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing.
  • Working knowledge of general ledger processes, balance sheet accounts, and fundamental accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting daily deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a high-volume or deadline-driven accounting environment.
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits and preparing variance explanations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
  • Experience with intercompany or internal account balancing.
