Job summary

CI&T in Quezon City (Cubao) is seeking a Senior Quality Automation Engineer to strengthen our AI-enabled QA capabilities. You will design and implement automated test strategies using Playwright, drive CI/CD integration, and ensure robust testing across web applications for complex enterprise clients.

The role blends hands-on automation with QA planning, risk assessment, and collaboration with product and development teams in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
Hands-on experience with Playwright test automation.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on requirements.
Perform smoke, regression, end-to-end, and UAT support activities.
Identify dependencies and assess impacts of changes on testing.
Validate environments and manage test data for functional and non-functional testing.
Contribute to release readiness and risk assessments prior to production deployment.
Document test results, defects, and quality metrics.
Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure testability of new features.
Apply AI tools to improve test design, documentation, and defect analysis.
