Job summary

APW Tech in Metro Manila is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and run automated tests for UI and APIs, ensuring quality across applications. You will integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps and product teams.

You will work with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium/WebDriver, and code in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#. The role emphasizes building reliable frameworks and maintaining test assets across releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 2–3 years of automation testing experience.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium/WebDriver.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C# for automation.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing strategies.
• Experience API testing with Postman/REST tools.
• Understanding CI/CD integration and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for reusability, scalability, and reliability.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and root causes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Conduct regression, smoke, sanity, and data-driven testing across releases.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams during requirements reviews and sprint planning.
• Track, document, and report test outcomes and quality metrics.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and automation strategies.
