Job summary

MicroSourcing in Cebu, Philippines seeks a Senior QA Analyst – Web & Automation to drive end-to-end testing across UI, APIs, and databases. You will validate AI agent behaviors and build automation with Playwright and pytest.

You will troubleshoot defects, inspect HTTP requests and logs, and leverage AI tools to accelerate coverage and root-cause analysis. This hybrid role includes night shifts and competitive rewards.

Qualifications

• Production web apps QA testing with exploratory and regression testing.
• Test across UI, API, database, and messaging queues.
• Inspect HTTP requests and logs for defects.
• Automation using Playwright, pytest, or similar tools.
• Data quality, privacy, and failure handling focus.
• Familiar with AI tools to accelerate testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end functional, exploratory, and regression testing across web UI, APIs, databases, and asynchronous backend systems.
• Validate complex AI agent behaviors, non-deterministic workflows, and background job states across realistic operational scenarios.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, pytest, or fit-for-purpose API testing tools.
• Investigate system defects using browser dev tools, HTTP payloads, database queries, and application logs to produce actionable bug reports.
• Leverage AI-native tools to generate test matrices, draft automation scripts, and accelerate root‑cause analysis.
