Job summary

Epsilon in a global data, technology and services company seeks a senior AI platform architect to drive enterprise-scale AI initiatives. You will translate end-user needs into scalable architectures, build reusable AI platforms, and guide governance, cost management, and security across teams.

Qualifications

• 12-18 years of experience building enterprise-scale web applications.
• Hands-on Generative AI, ML, MLOps pipelines, and agentic AI workflows.
• Strong Python and backend API design skills.
• Deep knowledge of LLM patterns: RAG, prompts, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop controls.
• Experience with AI platforms: vector databases, model serving, observability, cost optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud AI and data platforms (AWS, Azure, Databricks) and containerized deployments.
• Ability to influence senior engineers and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand end-user requirements and translate to architecture and design.
• Deliver platforms for secure AI use with cost management, governance, and discoverability.
• Build interoperability across hyper-scalers and agent development tools.
• Lead architecture for reusable AI platforms, agent frameworks, RAG pipelines, evaluators, orchestration, APIs, and integrations.
• Define reference architectures, standards, guardrails, and patterns for reliability, observability, security, scalability, cost efficiency.
• Guide build-versus-buy decisions and model/platform selection.
• Establish evaluation, testing, monitoring, feedback loop and runbooks for production AI.
• Partner with business units to assess opportunities and convert use cases into platform capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and influence execution through reviews, reusable components, documentation.
• Work with AI engineers to ensure high quality and reliable solutions.
