Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking a Senior AI Software Developer to design, build and scale responsible AI and Generative AI solutions in a hybrid Manila office. You will shape engineering practices and deliver measurable business value while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes advanced AI development, secure scalable services, and leadership in AI engineering standards within the Technology – AI Centre of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in designing, building and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Excellent Python expertise and familiarity with AI/ML libraries and APIs.
• Strong capability in Generative AI techniques including RAG, embeddings and vector search.
• Experience designing secure, scalable AI services integrated with enterprise data.
• Proven technical leadership, problem solving and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of AI-driven solutions using LLMs and Generative AI tech.
• Own end-to-end AI pipelines: data prep, model selection, deployment and monitoring.
• Define advanced AI solution patterns including embeddings and vector search.
• Set AI engineering standards: API integration, testing, CI/CD and docs.
• Provide architecture reviews, code reviews and mentorship across teams.
