Job summary

Private Advertiser in Makati is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to ensure supplier invoices are received, authorised, and paid on time in line with company policy.

You will process invoices, match for authorisation, prepare payments, reconcile supplier statements monthly, assist auditors, and help improve accounts payable processes. The role requires 5 years in AP, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar role (5 years).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, accounting software, and/or SharePoint.
• Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices into the accounting system in a timely manner.
• Match invoices and route to procurement/operations for authorisation.
• Prepare and pay suppliers per agreed terms.
• Assist with bank reconciliations related to accounts payable.
• Reconcile supplier statements monthly.
• Review and approve new and existing suppliers in Felix.
• Assist auditors with accounts payable queries.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and advise on AP policies.
• Review and analyse AP systems and procedures.
• Suggest improvements to AP processing.
