Job summary

Omnitech Medical and Healthcare Services Inc. in Laguna seeks an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and supervise the accounting team.

You will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with regulations, and drive process improvements while mentoring staff and coordinating with auditors and banks. A CPA is an advantage but not required; 3–5 years of relevant supervisory accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with supervisory exposure.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the day-to-day activities of the accounting team.
• Review and ensure accuracy of accounting records, journal entries, invoices and transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain documentation and accounting records.
• Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, banks, and external parties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen accounting controls and efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff.
