Job summary

Claritas is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations, oversee month-end and year-end closing, and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple branches in the Philippines.

The role requires directing AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, and treasury functions, while maintaining compliance with PFRS and BIR regulations. Strong ERP and Excel skills, along with CPA and 8–10 years of experience, are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance or related field.
CPA is required.
8–10 years of progressive accounting experience with 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Responsibilities

Oversee preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Review consolidated financial reports including variance analysis.
Ensure proper revenue and cost recognition aligned with logistics industry standards.
Provide analytical insights.
Manage month-end closing calendar and journal entries.
Review ERP data integrity and lead system enhancements and automation.
Supervise AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Branch Accounting.
Ensure compliance with PFRS, BIR regulations and company policies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and pricing evaluations.
Lead and develop accounting team and set KPIs.
