Microgenesis Business Systems in the Philippines is seeking a General Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate ledgers, timely closings, and compliant financial reporting. You will manage the accounting team, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with audits and management to deliver insights and drive continuous improvement within the finance function.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Oversee general accounting functions including: Nontrade Payable and ledgers.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Assist the Director for Accounting and Finance in management reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights into management for decision-making.
• Maintain and strengthen internal control systems and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with internal audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Assign responsibilities and evaluate team performance.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the department.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems and workflows.
• Participate in ERP/accounting system enhancements and automation projects.
• Develop and document accounting policies and procedures.
