Job summary

OMNIS PROSPERITY GROUP in Makati, Philippines, is seeking a competent accounting professional to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. You will review AP/AR, cash receipts, disbursements, and GL entries while coordinating with banks and auditors.

The role requires 3-5 years of accounting experience and CPA certification, with responsibility for budgeting, forecasts, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong background in accounting and financial firm business.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles.
• CPA certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Review and monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, disbursements, and general ledger transactions.
• Review bank reconciliations, petty cash, and other financial reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor the company’s cash flow, expenses, and financial activities.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with BIR, external auditors, banks, and other relevant parties regarding accounting and financial matters.
• Review accounting schedules, supporting documents, journal entries, and other financial records.
• Monitor compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial data and provide reports and recommendations to management.
• Lead, supervise, and monitor the performance of the Accounting team.
• Assign tasks and ensure timely completion of accounting deliverables.
