Job summary

Extenteam Inc. is hiring a Senior Accountant Team Lead to join our centralized team. You will oversee day-to-day accounting and month-end close processes, prepare reports, forecasts, and analyses, and mentor junior accountants.

The role emphasizes accuracy, leadership, and collaboration within a remote, international environment. Qualified candidates will have 4–7 years of accounting leadership experience, strong Excel skills, and GAAP/SFAS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent education.
• 4-6 years professional accounting experience preferred.
• 5-7 years experience leading at least 2 Accountants.
• Continuing Education (Master in Accountancy, CPA, CMA) preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of GAAP/SFAS.
• Ability to analyze financial data and report results.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Must be residing in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Performs, monitors, and/or manages the day-to-day accounting and month end close functions. Records financial transactions.
• Prepares, reviews, and distributes financial reports.
• Prepares reconciliations, roll forwards, and financial analysis.
• Prepares budgets, forecasts, trend analysis, and fluctuation commentary.
• Owns close sign-off and forecasts, team lead and reviewer duties.
