Job summary

LAdmins is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting for our U.S.-based clients from a remote Philippines-based role.

You will lead month-end close, maintain audit-ready records, supervise junior staff, and optimize processes using QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, and related tools. Strong US GAAP knowledge and English communication are essential. This position offers permanent work-from-home, PTO, and bonus opportunities as part of a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full cycle accounting and month end close.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Hands on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting systems; familiarity with tools like Bill.com or Expensify is a plus.
• Experience in outsourced accounting, public accounting, or multi entity environments is preferred.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior accounting staff.
• Advanced Excel skills, including reconciliations, pivot tables, and lookups.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline driven environment.
• Clear, confident written and verbal English for daily work with U.S. stakeholders.
• A proactive, solutions oriented mindset and comfort working independently.

Responsibilities

• Accounting operations & general ledger: Keep general ledgers accurate; prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations; ensure timely recording of transactions.
• Month end & year end close: Lead monthly and annual close; prepare and review financial statements; maintain audit readiness.
• AP, AR & expense management: Oversee vendor payments, billing, collections follow-up, and expense reporting.
• Reporting & financial support: Prepare management reports, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax prep.
• Team supervision & collaboration: Review work of junior staff and mentor; update leadership on deliverables.
• Process improvement & controls: Streamline workflows; strengthen internal controls; optimize accounting systems.
