Job summary

Unified Accounting & Tax, LLP seeks a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting in a data center development setting. You will work with the VP/Corporate Controller and a close-knit team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with Big 4 experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across the organization. Proficiency with NetSuite or QuickBooks and ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• CPA preferred with Big 4 experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Public accounting/audit experience
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite/QuickBooks

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries
• Maintain general ledger and reconcile entries
• Prepare balance sheet and statements
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes
• Support external audits and internal audits
• Assist with audits and compliance with policies and controls
• Maintain backups and protect financial information
• Interact with management at various levels
