Job summary

Planate Management Group South East Asia Corp (PMGSEAC) is seeking an Accountant to support the Accounting Manager in day-to-day operations at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. This full-time, onsite role handles payroll, payables/receivables, BIR compliance, and financial record-keeping.

You will contribute to internal controls, assist in financial reporting, and participate in system updates under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn and grow under the supervision of the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in processing payroll and ensuring compliance with statutory benefits.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice preparation, payment processing, and collections.
• Help prepare and file BIR reports and other government-mandated requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in internal control audits and help implement corrective measures when needed.
• Provide support in financial reporting and analysis.
• Participate in system updates and improvements under the guidance of the Accounting Manager.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be appropriate to the role.
