Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist in the Philippines to support day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, GL activities, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, tax compliance, payroll support, and month-end closing.

The role requires a hands-on accounting professional who maintains accurate records, resolves discrepancies, and coordinates with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience including bookkeeping and month-end closing.
• Hands-on experience with AP/AR, bank reconciliations and tax compliance.
• Working knowledge of Philippine tax rules and BIR filings.
• Experience with payroll processing and statutory contributions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.
• Process day-to-day financial transactions including receipts and disbursements.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support payroll processing and statutory contributions.
