Job summary

PM Consulting in the Philippines seeks an Accounting Team Lead to oversee financial accounting, payroll, tax, and regulatory reporting within a multinational SSC environment. The role requires strong leadership and hands-on expertise in IFRS/PFRS and compliance.

You will lead month-end close, coordinate audits, and collaborate with regional teams to strengthen controls, governance, and efficiency across finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in multinational SSC/GBS/BPO environment.
• Strong background in payroll, tax, BIR compliance, statutory reporting, and audits.
• SOX familiarity and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and prepare IFRS/PFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Govern payroll, statutory remittances, and payroll compliance.
• Ensure tax compliance and timely filings with BIR.
• Coordinate external audits and regulatory submissions.
• Lead BOI compliance activities and liaise with government agencies.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers, accounting firms, and tax consultants.
• Support process improvements and system implementations.
