Job summary

Connext is seeking a Senior Accountant 2 to lead month-end close activities, manage reconciliations, and deliver timely financial statements for the Philippines operations in Davao City. The role partners with cross-functional teams to strengthen accounting processes, support audits, and drive continuous improvements across brands, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience with US GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience supporting audits and audit documentation.
• ERP systems experience (Oracle, NetSuite) preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Review financial results for accuracy and completeness.
• Support credit card and accounts payable processes; assist with audits.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as needed.
• Support system implementations and SOP improvements across brands.
• Develop and update accounting policies and SOPs.
• Guide accounting team across locations and ensure internal controls.
