Axos Business Center in Manila seeks a Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, support reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. You will oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end close while driving process improvements.

The role also leads financial analysis, partners with cross-functional teams, and mentors junior accountants to strengthen the finance function.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in General Accounting, Financial Reporting, or RTR functions.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or team lead experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and other accounting transactions.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Support the preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes with timely reporting.
• Analyze financial results, identify variances, provide improvement recommendations.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and collaborate with business partners for decision support.
• Prepare management reports and presentations with insights into performance.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial projects.
• Coordinate with auditors and respond to auditor requests.
• Support internal control initiatives and strengthen processes.
