Job summary

Axos Clearing LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, support financial reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role oversees general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end close, while driving process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate will prepare journal entries, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and support audits. A Bachelor’s in Accountancy and 6+ years of experience are required; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required or equivalent.
• CPA certification preferred or in process.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or RTR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and other transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial projects.
• Provide audit support and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
