Job summary

Acclime in Metro Manila is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our F&A team and drive the monthly close, consolidation of financial results, and audit readiness. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting policies and timelines.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP knowledge, intercompany reconciliations, and ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics). Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4-6 years progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit schedules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform the monthly consolidation of financial results across multiple entities (multi-currency).
• Prepare consolidated financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow.
• Ensure intercompany eliminations are accurate and reconciled.
• Support the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Monitor international teams to ensure monthly account reconciliations are completed accurately and timely.
• Act as a point of contact for international accounting teams, ensuring timely communication and resolution of reconciliation or close-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency through automation and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
