Job summary

OpsArmy is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting and month-end close for a portfolio of ecommerce/CPG clients. You will own specific tasks, support client deliverables, respond to questions, and help maintain accurate financial records in a fully remote setup.

You may work independently or act as Controller for certain engagements, coordinating with the team to ensure timely and accurate closes and ongoing process improvements within the accounting function.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Experience in inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience with transactional accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting methods relevant to ecommerce or CPG businesses.

Responsibilities

• Own or support end-to-end month-end close for a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare and deliver client accounting deliverables and respond to client questions.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in accounting systems.
• Identify and escalate open items and roadblocks to the Controller.
