Job summary

ART Solutions Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to own store-level accounting, financial reporting, and controls. This hands-on role focuses on profitability (food, labor, and operating costs) and coordinating tax compliance with external partners.

The candidate will manage day-to-day accounts, collaborate with leadership, and strengthen internal accounting systems as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Non-CPA applicants are welcome to apply.
• 3–5 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
• F&B, QSR, or retail background is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR compliance; able to coordinate with external partners.
• Experience with Juan Accounting or QuickBooks Online preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledgers.
• Record, review, and audit transactions including store sales, purchases, collections, and disbursements.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile receivables, payables, POS sales, and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, schedules, and management reports; assist in month-end and year-end close.
• Assist in tax preparation, BIR compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements with external partners.
• Monitor vendor balances, cost variances, and inventory to safeguard profits.
• Coordinate with management to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.
• Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.

Our exclusive F&B client is looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant who will take end-to-end ownership of store-level accounting, financial reporting, and operational controls. Operating as a hands-on individual contributor, you will move beyond routine bookkeeping to provide clear financial visibility, safeguard profitability (food, labor, and operational costs), and coordinate tax compliance with external

accounting partner.

We are seeking a proactive, analytical professional who can independently manage day-to-day accounts while actively collaborating with leadership to resolve process bottlenecks, eliminate cost discrepancies, and progressively strengthen internal accounting systems as the business

grows.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and updated books of accounts and general ledgers.
• Record, review, and audit accounting transactions, including store sales, purchases, collections, and disbursements, to ensure accuracy and complete supporting documentation.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile receivables, payables, POS sales, and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare reliable monthly financial statements, schedules, and management reports, completing month-end and year-end closing procedures on time.
• Assist in tax preparation, BIR compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements, coordinating closely with external accounting partners.
• Monitor outstanding vendor balances, food and labor cost variances, and inventory records to safeguard profits and identify unnecessary expenses.
• Coordinate with management and relevant departments to resolve financial discrepancies, streamline existing processes, and strengthen internal accounting systems.
• Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis, special projects, and operational tasks as business needs evolve.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• CPA license is not required; non-CPA applicants are welcome to apply
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in general accounting, financial reporting, bookkeeping, or a similar role (F&B, QSR, or retail industry background is an advantage).
• Working knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR compliance, with the ability to coordinate effectively with external accounting partners.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with Juan Accounting or QuickBooks Online is preferred.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling, schedules, and variance analysis.
• Proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision, someone who actively seeks to resolve financial bottlenecks, streamline processes, and help strengthen internal accounting systems over time.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the flexibility to support leadership on ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as business needs evolve.
