MicroSourcing International is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage general ledger, month-end close, and factoring reconciliations in a hybrid setup at Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. The role requires manufacturing experience and strong Excel/ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, incl. 2+ years in manufacturing.
• Expertise in reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Experience with accounts receivable factoring arrangements.
• Strong month-end close under strict deadlines.
• Proficient in ERP systems (EXENTA or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Experience in multi-entity or intercompany accounting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger in compliance with GAAP.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals and adjusting entries.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare variance analysis for management reporting.
• Reconcile factoring accounts and monitor eligibility to optimize cash flow.

Responsibilities

General Accounting

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Perform complex balance sheet and bank reconciliations on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely and thorough manner.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries with proper documentation.

Month-End & Period Close

• Support and execute all aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare variance analysis for management reporting.
• Monitor close calendar milestones and proactively elevate issues to meet deadlines.

Accounts Receivable Factoring

• Reconcile factoring accounts and maintain accurate records of factored invoices.
• Monitor dilution rates, reserve balances, and eligibility to optimize cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Hands-on experience with accounts receivable factoring arrangements.
• Proven ability to support and execute month-end close processes under strict deadlines.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., EXENTA or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, or similar).
• Experience working in a multi-entity or intercompany accounting environment.
