Job summary

MicroSourcing, located in Ortigas, Pasig City, is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee daily transactions, assist in month-end close, and review financial statements. This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and collaboration with auditors and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting, strong knowledge of taxes and bookkeeping, and excellent English communication. Onsite, day shift, with competitive rewards and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor/Coordinator (Min 10 years' experience in accounting roles).
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, taxes laws and regulations.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Must be highly organised, work well under pressure with the ability to prioritise workload.
• Proactive, mature, meticulous, dedicated team player.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written (Fluent in English is a must).
• Has exposure to ERP software, managing more complex activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transactions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and taxes.
• Assists in finalizing monthly financial closing providing all the data.
• Participate in reviewing, and analysing of financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
• Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.
• Organize financial data into usable information and maintain updated records.
• Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
• Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets.
• Ensure compliance with the law and Internal Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
• Liaise with consultants, tax agents, clients, suppliers and banks.
