Job summary

MicroSourcing, located at Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, seeks a Senior Accountant for a hybrid night-shift role to manage general accounting, month-end close, and AR factoring processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting, with manufacturing exposure, strong GAAP and GL skills, Excel expertise, and EXENTA ERP experience within a multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in account reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Hands-on experience with accounts receivable factoring arrangements.
• Experience with month-end close processes under tight deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Experience in multi-entity or intercompany accounting environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Perform complex balance sheet and bank reconciliations on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely and thorough manner.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries with proper documentation.
• Support and execute all aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare variance analysis for management reporting.
• Monitor close calendar milestones and escalate issues to meet deadlines.
• Reconcile factoring accounts and monitor dilution rates and eligibility to optimize cash flow.

Responsibilities

General Accounting

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Hands-on experience with accounts receivable factoring arrangements.
• Proven ability to support and execute month-end close processes under strict deadlines.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., EXENTA or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, or similar).
• Experience working in a multi-entity or intercompany accounting environment.
