Job summary

ViVA COMMUNICATIONS INC. in Pasig City is seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for managing the company’s books, statutory reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and financial analysis.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, preferably CPA, with at least four years of relevant experience and strong skills in MS Office and SAP. You will coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities and ensure accuracy of financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required
• CPA is preferred
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in accounting and finance
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP
• Experience in generating management and statutory reports per PFRS
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Willingness to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Basic Purpose/Job Summary

Responsible for handling the books of accounts of the company (management and statutory reporting, tax compliance and filing, budgeting, and financial analysis).

Qualifications

• With a bachelor's degree, major in Accountancy

• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• Must have at least 4 years of relevant work experience with full knowledge of general accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, taxation, and budgeting

• Must be proficient in MS Office applications and SAP

• Must be able to prepare periodic management and statutory reports in accordance with PFRS and conduct financial analysis for presentation

• Must be able to prepare and reconcile balance sheet and income statement schedules for the company

• Must be able to coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities and resolve audit and tax issues

• Performs annual budgeting tasks

• Must be highly organized with keen attention to details

• With strong interpersonal skills, cutting across all levels of an organization

• Must have a good command of the English language and be able to communicate well, both in oral and written forms

• Self-starter, results-oriented, and hardworking

• Must be willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 7:30 pm
