Crackerjack Corporation in the Philippines is seeking an experienced accountant to prepare, monitor, and report on financial transactions and statements. The role involves ensuring accurate recording of daily financial activity and timely generation of statements.
Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, tax filings, and compliance with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government requirements, while maintaining confidentiality and integrity of financial data.
Prepare, maintain, and monitor accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
Record and verify daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, collections, and payments.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and accounting reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Monitor cash flow, company expenses, receivables, and payables.
Ensure proper documentation and recording of all financial transactions.
Prepare and review tax returns, reports, and other government-mandated submissions.
Ensure compliance with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other applicable government requirements, when assigned.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
Review accounting entries and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
Conduct account analysis and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions.
Assist with internal and external audits and provide necessary schedules and supporting documents.
Maintain organized and confidential financial records and documents.
Monitor accounting policies and procedures and recommend improvements when necessary.
Provide management with accurate financial information and reports for decision-making.
Coordinate with other departments, suppliers, clients, auditors, and government agencies regarding accounting-related concerns.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as may be assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA license is preferred/required, depending on the position.
With relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate or business environment.
Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations.
Familiarity with BIR and other government compliance requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Able to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
