Job description
Responsibilities
Responsible for the entire scope of Financial Accounting and Reporting, Tax Compliance and Regulatory Requirements, BIR Tax Filings and Submissions, Audit Coordination both internal and external, Internal Control and Process Improvement and Team Leadership and Collaboration.
Oversee financial accounting, general ledger maintenance, and timely financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and government regulatory requirements, including preparation and filing of BIR returns and submissions.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors, support audit activities, and prepare required documentation.
Review and enhance internal controls, accounting processes, and compliance procedures.
Analyze financial data, prepare management reports, and support decision-making.
Lead and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Handle reconciliations, variance analysis, and resolution of accounting issues.
Qualifications
Candidate should have a Bachelor/s Degree of Accountancy or any related studies, CPA is preferred
Must have at least three (3) to seven (7) years solid experience in accounting, auditing and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), taxation and internal controls.
Proficiency in Accounting software
Relevant experience from construction is an advantage
