Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a data-focused professional to contribute to a unified security master and maintain high data quality for its Equity Data value stream. The role emphasizes governance, accuracy, and collaboration across index calculation and client support.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data management or related financial services roles, strong SQL skills, and the ability to work independently within a team. Office presence is required at least two days per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data management, security reference data, or a related financial services role.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases and detail orientation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team, with strong communication skills.
• Final-stage interviews require in-person attendance at the nearest S&P Global office.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and maintenance of a unified security master database.
• Implement governance practices, including validation and auditing for data quality.
• Ensure prompt reflection of corporate actions in the security master for downstream processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the security master with business needs.
• Develop domain expertise in securities, corporate actions, and security master data.
• Work from office a minimum of 2 days per week.
