Job summary

Tierra Verdosa Services, Corp. is seeking a Security Manager to oversee security for the company and affiliates in the assigned area. The role covers asset security, risk assessments and coordination with law enforcement.

Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills are essential for effective community and authority engagement. The position requires a 4-year degree and background in security or related fields; experience with property security and contractor management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course.
• At least four years’ work experience in property/estate security, peacekeeping and/or conflict resolution.
• Certified Security Professional is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle and resolve conflict/issues involving communities and local authorities.
• Proficient in using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Investigates security incidents and recommends preventive actions.
• Reviews and updates deployment plans; prepares guards' term sheets and contracts.
• Processes payments for security services.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages and supervises the security requirements of the companyand its affiliates within the area of responsibilities.




• Securesand maintains the integrity of the real property assets of the company including those under the company’s custodianship




• Conducts regular ocular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities and develops strategies to mitigate risks and respond to security incidents effectively.




• Prepares an annual schedule of ocular inspections and ensures preparation and submission of asset inspection reports.




• Prepares an updated status report, with action plan and timeline, for assets with pending issues.




• Handles and manages eviction of illegal settlers/occupants and encroachments prior to or in parallel with litigation to recover possession of the real property assets of the company.




• Identify and resolve issues and concerns on the acquired properties, e.g. identification and establishment of property boundaries, negotiation and ejectment of illegal settlers/structures, physical due diligence, etc.




• Ensures the operational readiness and performance of all Security Service Providers:




• Monitors deployed security guards to ensure that all security measures are functioning efficiently in their designated areas-of-responsibility;




• Conductsevaluation and assessment of theSecurity Service Providers and security guards deployed;




• Conductsprompt investigationofall security-related incidentsand recommends actions to address and prevent the recurrence of similar incidents;




• Reviews and updates the company’s security and deployment plan of all security service providers;




• Prepares term sheets and contracts for the deployment of security guards; and,




• Evaluates and processes payment for all the security services billings and monitors its progress.




• Handles all the security management related functions:




• Coordinates with the Company's Security Supervisor/Manager to align with the company’s objectives and policies related to security management;




• Establishes and maintains robust networking with the local law enforcement and other relevant government agencies;




• Oversees the security of all Company's personnel and its guests/VIPs during site visits to Company's properties/developments.




• Performs other related duties required from time to time.

Qualifications:

• At least four (2) years’ work experience in the field of property/estate security, peacekeeping and/or conflict resolution
