Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is seeking a Subcon Planning Manager responsible for managing supply plans, forecasting, and coordinating with Everlight, Liteon, Dominant, Brightek and Novosense across China, Malaysia and Thailand.

You will oversee production and logistic planning for multiple plants and ensure material availability. The role involves analyzing KPIs, developing supplier forecasts, deploying short-term plans, and acting as escalation contact for planning issues across the network.

Responsibilities

• Managing or completing supply planning based on a number of indicators (sales forecast, orders, production data).
• Analyzing, controlling and reporting on relevant KPI, detecting plan deviations, and deriving recommendations.
• Developing supplier forecasts and determine logistical processes with suppliers.
• Analyzing order plans and critical timelines, and double-checking of available materials, parts or products in stock.
• Executing load balancing calculations, and cooperating with other plants for respectively optimized plans.
• Planning of monthly or weekly production program for the assigned plant(s).
• Calculating and deploying short-term (day-to-day) production plans for assigned production resources.
• Oversees order status, and planning and forecasts for production or logistic processes, for a single plant or warehouse.
• Coordinates planning and ordering of parts, materials or semi-products needed, transportation and stocking resources.
• Oversees all planning operations, in cooperation with local Warehouse or Production Management.
• Ensures accurate administration of all relevant order documents, and acts as escalation point of contact for clarifying planning issues.
