Job Overview
Responsible for supervising proper execution and managing raw materials and components material planning from both internal and external vendors to TE factories/plants including achieving target on-time delivery performance and maintaining adequate inventory levels. This position is focused on leading a group of various supply chain planners including, but not limited to, replenishment and material planning, and improving and implementing stocking/replenishment strategy, metrics, and analytics. This position is focused on better customer delivery experience, order replenishment, optimizing replenishment cycles, and working cross-functionally with other planning teams, DC operations teams, and customer service teams.
Job Requirements
- Oversee flows for raw materials & components material planning both from internal and external vendor to TE factories/plants
- Monitor the execution of procurement and other related Review Planning activities to ensure timely stock replenishment through on-time PR-to-PO releases to vendors, customer delivery trough STR and PDR reports.
- Ensures plant has sufficient material & components for production plan and customer orders are delivered on-time by properly executing replenishment and delivery creations with minimal issues that are openly communicated and regularly reviewed with customer care.
- Support analysing and critical exception messages, blocked customer orders, and customer returns.
- Review and monitor key performance metrics, including on-time delivery, STR and STS (for interco transactions), and Inventory.
- Proactively identify opportunities and create an action plan to better serve our customers with cross-functional teams via inventory or improved delivery performance.
- Provide guidance and support on critical issues for speedy recovery and long-term fix.

What your background should look like
- Degree /Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- SAP (or other ERP software) – 1-2 years
- understanding of MRP, Procurement Purchasing – 1-2 years
- Planning and experience in Supply Chain Management – 1-2 years
- Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities.
- Must be detail oriented and able to communicate to cross functional teams.
- Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary.
- Able to modify working hours to accommodate global time zones.
- Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.
