ODFJELL MANAGEMENT PHILIPPINES, INC is seeking a Competence Administrator to strengthen seafarer skills through structured trainings and development programs. You will coordinate onboarding and leadership sessions, maintain course portfolios, and work with SMEs to ensure content meets regulatory and operational needs.

The role emphasizes engaging learning environments, classroom, virtual, and blended formats, plus ongoing evaluation to drive improvements across competence initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, learning and development, HR, psychology, maritime studies, or related field.
• Minimum of three years' experience in training, competence development, education, or learning administration.
• Basic understanding of leadership theories, employee development, and organizational learning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates planning and delivery of training activities for seafarers and competence-related processes.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to organize programs and align content with regulatory requirements.
• Supports follow-up and evaluation to keep learning initiatives relevant and practical.
• Delivers onboarding and leadership training for new hires, ratings, and junior officers.
• Manages course portfolios within the learning system and maintains training records.
• Develops learning materials, presentations, and guides for various formats.
• Monitors feedback and contributes to ongoing improvement of learning solutions.
• Acts as ambassador for the company's learning culture and competence initiatives.
