Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of at least a 4-year course.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Operational industry experience in a similar capacity (minimum 1 year).
• Preferably with working experience in a multinational freight forwarder.
• Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements in terms of information flow, transportation, warehousing and logistics.
• Excellent knowledge of Seafreight forwarding operations.
• Operational know-how (Customer Service, Document Processing, Customs Clearance Export).
• Effective business administration competence.
• Knowledge/experience in use of Cargowise system an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sea Export team, ensuring efficient workload management and compliance with standards.
• Drive operational excellence by maintaining high productivity, service quality, and proactive issue resolution.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives with BCM and Operations Process teams to achieve efficiency and cost optimization.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs, take corrective actions, and foster accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, customer SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality standards while minimizing risks.
• Supervise Freight Forwarder staff and ensure shipments are handled accurately and compliantly.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries with effective logistics solutions.
• Coordinate and ensure smooth execution of all export shipments.
• Submit operational and customer-required reports timely.
• Coordinate with DSV offices and stakeholders on account-specific requirements.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints with timely resolution.
• Conduct customer visits and business reviews to strengthen relationships.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence within the department.
• Perform other duties and special assignments as directed by management.
