Job summary

Wissen Technology seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer / SDET to design, build, and run automated tests for web apps and HR platforms, emphasizing Playwright, API testing, and AWS. You will validate functionality and performance while ensuring reliability.

Hybrid work is offered; 3–6 years of hands-on testing experience and MCA/B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech education are preferred; collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and QA peers to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Software Testing or SDET roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
• Experience in API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience with AWS and testing React-based web apps.
• Familiarity with Git, SDLC/Agile, and CI/CD workflows.
• HR platform testing experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts with Playwright.
• Create functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Perform API testing and validate requests, responses, and auth.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce defects.
• Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS).
