Job summary

Wissen Technology is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer / SDET with 3–6 years of experience. You will work on Playwright-based automation, API testing, and AWS-hosted applications, contributing to HR/HRMS-related platforms when applicable.

Qualifications

3–6 years of software testing/QA automation/SDET experience.
Hands-on Playwright automation experience is required.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts with Playwright.
Create end-to-end, regression, functional, and integration tests.
Perform API testing for RESTful services, including validation of requests and responses.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
Execute automated and manual test cases based on project requirements.
Identify, document, and track defects and work with developers to resolve them.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers.
Participate in test planning, estimation, requirement analysis, and sprint ceremonies.
Contribute to improving automation coverage and QA processes.
