Job summary

Certa is hiring a remote SDET II to own significant portions of our test infrastructure and drive quality strategy across the engineering team. You will design testing approaches for complex features, mentor junior engineers, and help shape automation at scale.

Responsibilities include building test frameworks, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and managing AWS environments. Bring extensive Playwright expertise, TypeScript, and strong API testing skills to accelerate delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Extensive Playwright experience with fixtures architecture and scalable abstractions.
• API testing and orchestration across REST/GraphQL with UI workflows.
• Advanced TypeScript including generics, decorators, and typing patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS).
• Expert Git workflows and distributed version control.

Responsibilities

• Build and architect test frameworks and infrastructure for scalable automation.
• Design testing strategies for new features and platform capabilities across teams.
• Refactor and optimize test suites for performance and maintainability.
• Manage AWS-based test environments and build custom tooling for quality insights.
• Mentor SDET I engineers and conduct technical reviews.
