Job summary

Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking an SDET to design and implement manual and automated testing solutions, focusing on automated test frameworks and test suites using TypeScript or similar languages, with hands-on Playwright experience.

You will collaborate with Product Management, DevOps, and stakeholders to drive test strategy, quality engineering, and CI/CD driven validation across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 5–7 years of QA experience including manual and automated testing.
• Proven ability to design and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of REST API testing and web apps.
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD environments.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement manual and automated testing solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Evaluate user stories for validity, feasibility, and testability.
• Develop and execute automated tests for functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Execute manual testing when required to support product validation.
• Report and track defects and communicate with Product Management.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Product Management, and stakeholders to plan testing and releases.
• Support automated quality validation within DevOps and CI/CD workflows.
• Recommend improvements to testing tools, frameworks, processes, and practices.
• Drive test strategy and quality initiatives across projects and releases.
