Job summary

Surepay Technologies Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master / team lead to guide agile software delivery.

You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach developers, and remove impediments to keep sprint velocity high. Responsibilities include backlog refinement, collaboration with stakeholders, code reviews, and mentoring juniors while ensuring quality and timely deployment of scalable applications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience with at least 1 year in Scrum Master or team lead role.
• Experience leading sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming.
• Scrum Master certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guide and coach the development team on Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and frameworks.
• Remove impediments and blockers that affect team velocity and sprint delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and maintainable software applications.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices and architecture decisions.
• Contribute to the definition and documentation of technical specifications and system architecture.
• Coordinate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing and timely resolution of defects.
• Monitor sprint progress and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with the Technology and Operations teams to align development activities with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company quality management standards and development procedures.
• Attend certification trainings or schooling as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the President.
