A dynamic software development company based in the Philippines is looking for a mid-level Scrum Master to facilitate agile practices within their development team. In this role, you will ensure adherence to scrum framework values, mentor team members, and manage support issues across various applications. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern technology stacks including .NET and Java.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Certified Scrum Master is a plus.
• Familiarity with .NET, Java, ReactJS, SQL is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Facilitate scrum events including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives.
• Ensuring that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of applications to help troubleshoot and report issues accurately to dev team.
• Triage and Manage support issues for all applications handled by team.
• Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
• Work closely with the Service Managers and Technical Leads to understand requirements and scope of work.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best of breed technology, patterns, and methodologies.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Mid-level (2 to 3) experience as a Scrum Master is acceptable.
• Certified Scrum Master is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence as as development tool
• Preferred background and experience in .NET, Java, ReactJS, and SQL technologies.
• Any prior software development or testing experience (Frontend, Backend in E-commerce) is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work closely with others.
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.
