Job summary

ACCION LABS PHILIPPINES, INC. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices and foster effective collaboration across cross-functional teams in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and SAFe, with hands-on experience guiding teams through ceremonies and backlog refinement. Responsibilities include facilitating Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews and Retrospectives; promoting Agile practices,

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Project Manager with Scrum experience.
• Experience as Scrum Master or in an Agile delivery environment.
• At least one Scrum certification (PSM, CSM, SAFe).
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and SAFe.
• Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
• Promote Agile practices across the team, including story pointing and backlog grooming.
• Support Scrum and Agile methodologies to ensure efficient sprint execution.
• Help maintain and manage product backlogs; prioritize and estimate user stories.
• Encourage continuous improvement and collaboration within Agile teams.
• Apply SAFe knowledge in supporting Agile delivery.

Job description

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), with hands-on experience using Agile project management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.

• Promote and facilitate Agile practices across the team, including Story Pointing and Backlog Grooming.

• Support the team in implementing Scrum and Agile methodologies to ensure efficient sprint execution.

• Help maintain and manage product backlogs and ensure user stories are properly prioritized and estimated.

• Encourage continuous improvement and collaboration within Agile teams.

• Apply knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in supporting Agile delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as Project Manager with Scrum experience.

• Experience working as a Scrum Master or in an Agile delivery environment.

• Must have at least one Scrum certification, such as:

  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

  • SAFe Certification

• Strong understanding of Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and SAFe.

• Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum events and Agile practices.

• Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as:

  • Jira

  • Rational Team Concert (RTC)

  • Agile Central

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to guide teams in adopting Agile practices and driving continuous improvement.
