Job summary

GECO Asia is seeking a mid-level Scrum Master to collaborate with cross-functional teams in delivering agile, high-quality software solutions from our Manila delivery center.

You will facilitate Scrum events, maintain clean product backlogs, and partner with Service Managers and Tech Leads to align requirements with project goals while promoting continuous improvement and strong communication within the team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a Scrum Master (mid-level).
• Certified Scrum Master is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Preferred background in .NET, Java, ReactJS and SQL technologies.
• Prior software development or testing experience (frontend/backend in e-commerce) is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events: sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure Scrum events are productive, positive, and timeboxed.
• Troubleshoot and triage application issues, reporting accurately to the development team.
• Manage support issues for applications handled by the team.
• Guide the team in creating clear and concise Product Backlog items.
• Work closely with Service Managers and Technical Leads to define requirements and scope.
• Stay updated with industry trends, incorporating best practices and methodologies.
