Job summary

Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Scrum Master to guide a cross-functional team in delivering full-stack solutions aligned with project priorities.

You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, mentor teams, and collaborate with Service Managers and Technical Leads to understand requirements and scope of work.

Strong English communication and knowledge of Jira/Confluence, and experience with .NET, Java, ReactJS, and SQL are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Scrum Master experience.
• Certified Scrum Master is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence as development tools.
• Preferred background in .NET, Java, ReactJS, and SQL technologies.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work closely with others.
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate scrum events including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives.
• Ensure all Scrum events take place, are positive, productive, and timeboxed.
• Cultivate understanding of applications to troubleshoot and report issues accurately to dev team.
• Triage and manage support issues for all applications handled by team.
• Help the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.
• Work with Service Managers and Technical Leads to understand requirements and scope of work.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices.

Job description

As the Scrum Master, you will collaborate with a team to deliver full stack solutions that align with the project priorities.

Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring development teams adhere to scrum framework values and agile

practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to enhance processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making, and

removing any impediments that the teams may face.

• Facilitate scrum events including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives.

Core Qualifications and Education

• Mid-level (2 to 3) experience as a Scrum Master is acceptable.
• Certified Scrum Master is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence as as development tool
• Preferred background and experience in .NET, Java, ReactJS, and SQL technologies.
• Any prior software development or testing experience (Frontend, Backend in E-commerce) is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English.
