Job summary

WeSupport, Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a Scrum Master to collaborate with a team to deliver full stack solutions aligned with project priorities, ensuring adherence to Scrum values and agile practices while mentoring and motivating the teams.

You will facilitate all Scrum events, help remove impediments, document technical details clearly, and work with Service Managers and Technical Leads to understand requirements and scope, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Scrum Master experience.
• CSM certification is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with .NET, Java, ReactJS, and SQL.
• Experience in software development or testing is an advantage.
• Strong English communication.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others.
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate scrum events including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint review, and retrospectives.
• Ensure all Scrum events occur, stay positive, productive, and timeboxed.
• Deeply understand applications to troubleshoot and report issues to the dev team.
• Triage and manage support issues for all applications handled by the team.
• Help the team write clear and concise Product Backlog items.
• Collaborate with Service Managers and Technical Leads to understand requirements and scope.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

About the role

As the Scrum Master, you will collaborate with a team to deliver full stack solutions that align with the project priorities. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring development teams adhere to scrum framework values and agile practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to enhance processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making, and removing any impediments that the teams may face.

Qualifications

• Mid-level (2 to 3 years) experience as a Scrum Master is acceptable.

• Certified Scrum Master is a plus but not required.

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence as development tools.

• Preferred background and experience in .NET, Java, ReactJS, and SQL technologies.

• Any prior software development or testing experience (Frontend, Backend in E-commerce) is an advantage.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate and work closely with others.

• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.

Key responsibilities
